Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 June 2026 · Maintained by PilotPR.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PilotPR (the "Service"), operated from Victoria, Australia. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PilotPR is a wallet pass platform. It provides a pass designer with live Apple Wallet and Google Wallet previews, hosted distribution links and QR codes, scan and install analytics, push updates to active passes, and a REST API with webhooks for loyalty cards, coupons, event tickets, and memberships.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and authorised to bind the business you represent. Workspace owners control billing and team membership; invited members receive access scoped by role. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, API keys, and all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

  • You must not issue misleading offers, fake coupons, or passes that misrepresent the value or terms a customer will receive. This is prohibited under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
  • You must obtain consent before sending pass install links to customers via email or SMS, and you must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and equivalent laws in their jurisdiction.
  • You must not impersonate, distribute passes for, or use trademarks of a brand you don't represent or have authority to act for.
  • You must not use the Service to harass, defame, or unlawfully process personal information.

4. Third-party wallet platforms

Distributing passes through Apple Wallet (PassKit) and Google Wallet requires you to comply with the developer terms of those platforms. We are not responsible for changes to their APIs, certificate revocation, rejection of pass templates, or platform outages that delay install or update delivery.

5. API & rate limits

API access is provided on a fair-use basis. You must not scrape, relay, or resell the Service, and you are responsible for rotating compromised API keys promptly. We may apply rate limits to protect platform stability and will publish current limits in our developer documentation.

6. Subscriptions, billing & GST

  • Paid plans are not yet live. When billing is enabled, plans will be billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle in Australian dollars (AUD) and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • All displayed prices will include 10% Australian GST. A compliant tax invoice will be issued automatically for each successful payment.
  • Payments are planned to be processed by Stripe. If you provide a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) at checkout, reverse-charge rules may apply.
  • You will be able to cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraud or chargebacks, or place undue load on the Service. On termination you have 30 days to export your data; after that workspace data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and PilotPR submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
